Sweet little sugar
brown eyed - chocolate hued
lovelable little nut
my heart belongs to you

Pumpkin spice
poured in twice
with fragrant allure

You're my treat
make my heart complete
you're my precious girl

She might be outgrowing this at age of 9, but hey, mama's little ones never quit being their baby, no?

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Susan, this was so sweet.  No, little girls never outgrow their mamas (except for "the rebellion" and that goes away, then they're our litlle girls again).   ....jo

No Susan,  they never stop being what they
are,  until about 18....when they think
they have most of everything figured out
and our words are suspect of being totally
inaccurate....  Then 25 hits and they start
admitting their shortcomings....begin to
bolster their parent's judgement...Ahhhh,
the bittersweet moments of being told
You were right....as you give them the look
of "I told you so"....

Careful, she might become a tool lady too.

Not planned by Mom,  of course?

Thanks Jo.  Sometimes I think she's already hitting the tween stage

Barry, I've already got Hannah out practicing some drills and she likes to flip my drone (dull practice blade) around.  I hope she does walk in my footsteps and enjoys the use of tools -- I'll feel the safer of her for it.

Hugs to you both   Susan

Cute poem from a very gifted individual.  The big 9, huh?  Is she throwing "plastic" stars yet?  Just kidding.  I smiled when I read this.

Aww, Hannah sounds as though she is made of sugar and spice ~ just like her Mommy!

Thanks my friends.  She is a sweetie, my girl.  Filled with spice, yes, but that's half the fun.

Hugs to you all --   Susan
