Of Touché

Touché, her point had red my norm
Dazzled by her racing form
She parried with a ruthless ruse
That skewered me and cooked my goose

Of course I talk of bygone days
Past horizons, youthful ways
Adventures and desires roar
With all the crying and the pour

She streaked within a wile of nap
Surprised me like a sudden slap
Caught me with her naked seem
Woke me from an august dream

And though my eyes were open wide
I could not stop the force of tide
And heard myself in muffled tone
Sound regret in muffled moan

The shadows of an age away
Escaped to rage my feet of clay

Sy darling man, this is so YOU, each word reverberates with your essence, such a beautifully written and presented piece from you darling one. Your ability to clothe these pages with such skilfully presented pieces is amazing, the rhythm and the flow of this are exquisite. An amazing piece from you darling man, absolutely outstanding

I love it utterly, utterly, utterly

Love and warm stuff

lol, oh I do like those lines.....

You didn't ask for her to enter your dream, no man can resist a look at a streaking woman...

Loved this one, Seymour

So rapier sharp, your mind this clear
even as you wake from dream so dear,
fear not Sire, of your feet of clay,
for daydreams await your mind this day...

Many feelings come to bear...as the bearer
of tides lie onto the land..

I worried about you,  good to see you are

Touche'.  Your point.  Well done.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
