As silent as a feather glides, our nightly tryst begins,
her silken touch a strangle-hold, that seeks to draw me in.
To slip into her soft embrace and sensuously slide,
her every wish is my command, her summons, I'll abide.

She promises that servitude will be its' own reward,
demands that vows shall be renewed by those who would explore
the subtleties she's visited upon her willing slaves,
before the alter of the bed fulfills all that is craved.

So fluid are her movements, she inspires one to write,
seductively, she whispers secrets hidden from the light.
I lay supine before her in anticipations' pose,
awaiting subjugation, as a captive in her throes.

No shame shall I confess to for the company I keep,
my "Lady of the Evening" is the "Mistress" known as sleep.

Sometimes, insomnia from those very whispers occur...
but that nether time...is a good time...

Well done, Doc!

Lend to me your mistress fair so willing is her aim to please--
Let her fill the what's-not-there and tantalize serenity
with promises of dreams, there I, can find an "almost anything"--
Oh lend to me your mistress fair and prayeth all tonight I sleep...

"So mote it be." typed the witch.

Oh wow.

Does that make you a witch doctor?

HEAL ME.

(I could very much relate to this'n doc, in fact, if your verse and my verse should ever get together, I claim dibs on the first of the offspring.)

Ambien is a nice name and gender neutral, too, methinks!

(I really do need sleep.)

Loved this.

sheesh
