A Meadow I Call Eternity

Somewhere in the magic of the black forest
my sweetheart is far away from me,
in the meadow where she found me,
a meadow I call eternity.

How was I to know that her lovers potion
would only bless a man of total devotion.

Now I search for her love
but she doesn't want for me.
I had my chance for
love and romance,
until my wayward heart
broke us apart
in a meadow I
call eternity.

Well done JM,  I believe that is how it is,
isn't it....and I would surmise that perhaps
it will be an eternity before....

Whatcha think?

Good write,  enjoyed it.

Whoa!  Now, JamesLee, this is most curious and I am wondering if this is Susie.  Really beginning to believe you met a real, living muse.   ....jo

Thank you Magnus and iliana...indeed she is real and exciting, sensual and inviting.
However when I write, I write of past, present and future...especially when I write of women I care for or have cared for or want to care for, I write of experiences I've had, experiences I want to have and experiences I will have...some based on truth and some fantasy...hope this makes some sense...James

yes James, your entire composition makes sense, and more so, enscribing a lesson well learned, sometimes like children, we have to allow our hearts to feel the pain in order to receive blessings

JamesMichael~
You are soooooooooo tenderly romantic~
May all your 'pasts-todays-and futures' continue to give us such insight to your heart~
