The clouds collaborated;

prophets on the changing sky,
yielding a stream of blue
to wet the fading lawns of summer;

two times the chimes strike;

a chorus of vagabonds,
tangled in a kite's tail
along the wind's flight;

brush in hand,
the artist gets ready
to paint another fall,

looking above me,
longing to fly,
between the greens
and the ambers,

watching them go;

i turn towards the east,
then divert my eyes.

oh this has been a wonderful summer where I live......October has been in the air all this summer.

Michelle, from the first line I you help me right there with you watching the sky, and at the end, well, at the end, I was a little sad your eyes got diverted. Lovely read, lady.

I think you need to add artwork or photographs to your work to help enhance the the pictures you paint with your creative words.
