...Tired Thoughts

fingers
wishing to fast,
wanting relief in the
seeming of the night

dreaming
of thinness
and his touch
wondering if a stitch or two
here and there, would suffice

~~*~~

tainted
with time,
ribboned in red, white and
blue     I am
feeling for the heartbeat
knowing it no longer lives
except in knots
of once upons

~~*~~

matching
black with lack
or blue of two
still learning
curves
the moods of you

~*~~

surround
the sound of you
in tense
shadows wordings
in my defense

~~*~~

listening still
for the thump thump there
passing eyes
made full aware
the walking  to
in front of then
to touch or not
the question   when...

tired thoughts
appease the mind
encounters all
in silent rhyme

the heart
beats free   if I
walk your eyes
the un nots a gift
to the awareness of you

This had such a wonderful flow to it
