He Is He’s whispers on a summer’s night The grace of eagles caught in flight The wind that softly sways the trees The love that brings me to my knees He is He is the moonlit autumn walks The long and heartfelt evening talks The stars that light the heaven’s skies The melody of babies cries He is He is this poet’s newborn rhyme He captures me, he stills the time He is the dawn’s first amber beams My sanest choice, my wildest dreams He is He is the ocean’s foam swept waves The tears that fall on silent graves The winter’s snow, the summer’s heat The air I breathe, the food I eat He is He is the future, is the past Unyielding strength that makes us last The touch I can’t, will not, resist I only know that I exist ...Because he is |
