Raging winds whip briny seas against
  my weather-beaten shores.
Awash with trepidation, I await the mounting
turbulence to deliver the final coups de gras.
Mine has not been an easy journey, for I have
endured the wrath of the Fates for my
  inadequacies.
As the karmic wheel spins into eternity,
I am reminded that no sin shall go unpunished.
My fervent prayers for redemption go unheard as
the thundering waves crash against the shell
  that once was me.

Linda, I am hoping this was a message for someone else from one of the voices and not something you're going through.  It was so well written and really heartwrenching. It must have been painful to feel.  My thoughts are with you.   & love & light, ....jo

This really sounds like "a coup de grace" dear Linda.
Powerful and - dare I say - frightening write! An unhappy soul's outburst maybe.
You rendered this masterfully.
Love and hugs, Margherita

wheeewwww, Jo, a very intense read...but I don't see anger here, more so frustration...as you gain knowledge of the self...the karmic wheel desires us to no longer look to others, but within...we are given thought, freedom to live, and choice....it is up to us to decide what to do with it...

Intense read, and an awakening for us all to savor...thank you Jo...May the day bring you much sunshine and peace of mind and heart.

Love
Lee J.

Hey, Lee! It's me! ~ Linda! ~ Not Jo! lol
I can see how you might have thought it was Jo, because she and I are kindred spirits!

Actually, this poem just wrote itself and I got a kick out of reading it myself! lol

As you may know, I am an artist. Usually, I am a "realistic" painter as opposed to impressionistic but I love to listen to the reactions of those who visit my shows when they come upon my abstracts and futuristic paintings! I love coming up with the unexpected!

(big angel hugs) This is a heartfelt and tumultuous write, sweet friend, I hope this no longer relates to you or any of your loved ones, though it is ever so common that many don't repent their wrongs and thus punishment is inevitable, with the throbbing ache of grief puncturing ones heart the ultimate side effect! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
