Oil Painting By A Romantic Heart

(DEDICATED TO GOLDENROSE)

Majestic snow covered mountains,
baby blue cotton sky,
soft gentle clouds drift slowly by,

Tall, slender evergreen pines,
Fields of different grassy greens,
peaceful river flows in between,

Little love cabin in the wood,
our place of complete serenity,
where you and I escape to write,
our poetry,

When the bright sun sets,
moon covers the velvet sky,
you and I have no regrets,
watching the stars float on by,

So peaceful are we,
alone with nature,
alone, away from the world,
alone, but together,

This is where I want to be forever...

Hear the crickets chirp,
the night owls give their hoot,
feel the soft night breeze,
upon your bare foot,

Oh, this quietness,
the happiness,
all my favorite things are here,

Nature, trees, birds,
love peacefulness,
most of all, you,
my dear,

I want to live forever,
with you, back in our
little cabin in the wood,

Through fall, winter,
summer, spring,loving
only you, I could,

Our little log cabin,
but full of so much love,
just the three of us,
You and me...and God
above.

Oh my, this is lovely.  The painting, very nice.  The poetry, stirring.  And what  a lovely picture of yourself--
