Where have you gone, poetess of the blue?
Do not you hear my pleas for your reprise?
I yearn your words, with thoughts so pure, so true,
Your tender odes, fall forth from midnight skies
To touch upon, nay, kiss on mortal man
With haunting voice of golden nightingale.
Lo’ would I hear your madrigals again,
Which pierce my soul, into heart’s depths impale.
I dream at night, fearing of tomorrow,
My only light, lament of your refrain,
Though oft you quill, heartaches’ bite and sorrow,
Within your ache, lies beauty bathed in pain,
I seek the night, with beauty that you bring,
Ensconced within, odes soft as angel’s wing.

I hope she hears you.  This is lovely in its longing.

thank you for all the kind comments...
the poetess of the blue is an amalgamation of all the poetesses of Passions, so she returns on a daily basis.
