What Speaks to Me Flowers woo to me of you In warmth and odor and in hue In softness and in special awe They touch my heart within the core, They sing to me a song of love Within green fields and blue above They touch me with a peace and grace They fill my very zone of space. They mortar me within a spell And is the water of my well Oasis to my desert mind It gave me eyes where I was blind And now that I can truly see I found the key to you and me No longer fantasy my door I have the key to evermore. Like a blanket in a cover We dissolved into each other |
