What steel limber gate frolics?
Or long roman nights
Carrying fragrant belongings
Beneath annealed stars
Low-seated mothering of rose
Creating strange colorations of music
Entering life of soul

What sincerity of enthusiasm …sweet passions
What giant holds ears of leisure so close?
Admiring out loud…vocals
Underscoring a coupling amphitheater
Each unto itself, ingesting fruits
Muttering explosives to anyone who would listen
Red blood igniting kudos

Writing it’s graffiti of assuming dimensions
Incarcerations of visibility
Caring fondness, with which men look upon women
Teachers bringing children to school
Nodding appreciatively

Wine-splashed airstreams flaming surprise
Showing whispered things
Deep voiced promise
Compressed easily, finding virtue in unpleasantness
Having the forbidden pleasure
Of balance, with the flesh of strings
Closing one’s eyes and inhaling deeply
Pure amnesia it sings

Rite of passion
Gesturing thoughts from a violin
Encouraging visitations
Brushing an imaginary look
Counting every green emotion
Private crazy gondolas
Tasting hallucinations
Where walkways lay between us

Beckoning elusive verbal equivalents
Canals of tremendous souls
Friendly talons changing the nature of light
What steel limber cohort frolics?
Like untied long stringed shoes
This river traffic of unseen apparition
Where heavenly hosts bemuse

Inspired by Adagio for Stings

“Now the time has come to face, my untold fears
Every waking hour, drained me through the years
So that I'm not one with myself my strength, my gift
Is destined to be forgotten
I have seen the world begin,
in the mirror of the past
I pray the life giving force
still holds the strength, to last
As i lay dying
I understand,
The reason for my life
My fear slips away, the new world begins.”
~Adagio “The Stringless Violin”
