Of What Has Settled

The mist now hangs about the moor
Where wisps of dewdrops gang in lure
Shedding hews of morning’s glory
Views for us a brand new story

It fades within the curtains call
To introduce the actors thrall
And settles back into the air
To grace its treasures with its heirs

And we the audience of choice
Now lend the choirs of our voice
Touch and feel the face of awe
Upon the spilling of the pour

The miracle of countless trace
The pinnacle of living grace
The act to me that seems Divine
An act of love in its define

And If, I can’t believe my eyes
Then why should I so fear demise?

Then don't settle, and stay around
for a long long time to show us the way.

Right?

Mr. T. ~

You are immortal in my books! Yes, we do cast off these feet of clay ~ and that ain't so bad! They're heavy suckers and weigh us down preventing us from flying high and free!

I may often write airy-fairy replies to your poems, but I do appreciate the wisdom and depth of feeling that are inherent in each one of them.

Wouldn't ask that you guarantee something that isn't yours to give, but just continue to smile for as long as you live!  Right?

Right!!!

Seymour, your poem carried a particular beauty with it that I think Janet Marie captured nicely.  Thanks for sharing, dear Man.

I came back to add that fearing demise is a natural thing, and learning not to fear is, too.  Big ....jo
