Song for Simon

You are the tangible
miracle of life
God’s whisper of beauty
tenderly caressing
my heart.

In your eyes
you hold the mystery
of the Heavenly Source
and the curiosity
for your Earthen life.

Like a bud
you unfold in splendour
and in awe
I behold your
sweet radiance.

Your breath
a sacred Divine breeze
so soft and tender
and yet so overwhelming
in its power.

In its power of love …

In silence we exchange
a knowing glance,
through the depth of our souls
we touch upon
the irresistible magic
of existence.

You, the manifestation
of Love!
You, the miracle
of Life!
I love you!
….. and my heart
gives thanks.

Love, Margherita

ps As some of you know, I have had the deep joy of becoming a grandmother. Simon is beautiful and all is well. As I have no internet-linked images I can't post his picture here, but if you want to enjoy a moment of tenderness, go see him at www.givnology.com (last forum - Words - beautiful poetry). Hugs.

Oh my friend, what inquiring eyes!  Grandchildren ARE indeed our blessings...we see how far our own seeds have traveled, and know in the deepest part of our soul that HOPE will continue...

He IS your love...and I hope that this miracle is multiplied times over for you.  Ah honey...just beautiful!

So, there is the little bundle of joy that has been keeping you away from us! ~ and I can see why! I am so pleased that the pregnancy and delivery went well and that you now have a real live little angel in all of your lives! He is precious beyond compare!

What a loving Mom and grandmother you are! I am certain your daughter must have truly appreciated your support. I am very happy for you and your family! We can feel God's presence even more when we are blessed with a perfect, healthy baby such as Sweet Little Simon!

Sending him a tiny cyber angel bear to go with his collection!

Loving hugs to you and your family! ~ and an extra big one to Simon! lol

Margherita, I would also like to add that your poem was exceptionally lovely and sure to be treasured by Simon once he is old enough to appreciate how much his grandmother loves him ~ and how talented she is!!!

Margherita, oh, he is just precious.  It brings back the memories of my two when they were so small.  This poem of yours is just about the most beautiful poem about a baby I think I've ever read and expresses my own thoughts perfectly.  Congrats, Gramma!  and ....jo

My friends, you are all so sweet with your heartwarming comments ... THANK YOU!

I miss little Simon very much, we live so far apart! But I'll go back to visit for two weeks soon, during the rest of my holidays. My greatest joy is when my daughter sends new pictures via e-mail. Such a pleasure and a blessing!

Love and Joy to all of you.

Margherita~
I ooooh'd and ahhhh'd over little Simon ... then Delaney came to see what the fuss was all about ... Tee-Hee ... when I showed her Simon's pictures ... she *giggled* ... and said, "I have a baby sister and maybe, maybe I'll get a baby brother next time."

Of course Mommy and Daddy heard her and *giggled* among themselves~
Then they came in to see Simon ... we ALL think he is just adorable~

Delaney made her daddy get Landry and hold her up in front of the monitor ... Delaney 'introduced' her to Simon and told Landry that he was a baby BOY !!!

So cute she was in being little Miss Priss~

The vote is that Simon is the cutest little baby BOY we've seen~

I can just imagine how you feel ... me too~

*Huglets* to you Grandmother~

Thank you, dear Marge, for this sweet reportage! It's great that Simon has two sweet little girlfriends, the most beautiful princesses Delaney and Landry!
I now understand what YOU feel and your poetic sharings regarding your granddaughters are always a pure delight!
Thank you!
Love and hugs. Margherita
