You never lied to me before, baby
and I never planned to leave,
'till I walked out that door.

Now it’s too late for cryin on the sleeve,
too late to say you’re sorry
for being the one who made us come undone.

You never lied to me before, baby
but now you’re on your knees,
knowing what you lost, now willing to say please.

But it’s too late, baby
though I never planned to leave
‘till I walked out that door.

You never lied to me before,
and I never cried before,
but I never had the need,
until now.

Dear Kacy, this only asks for a guitar to be just perfect!

It's a bit lame, but was a bluesy thing that just seemed fit a friend's guitar music I was listening to today, recorded years ago.
