I stepped aside

I turned aside but not with pride
This phantom plight of my abide
And though I have no answer yet
I hang my head on this beget

The night was cool the moon in rule
With silver light that seemed to drool
And coin sized leaves they danced the breeze
That hung the branches of the trees

Displaying shadows of the host
That drugged my mind with symbols post
And set a passion to my leer
I could not stop the face of fear

I gazed into a whim of fire
Brought about by my desire
Reached my hand into the flame
And screamed in cry I am to blame

And they’re upon the pain of red
I turned in sweat upon my bed.

Those blue moons bring some vivid dreams...
but here you've left the tale, it seems,
so all should be just fine this day...
until night's dreams have yet more say.

Ouch.  You've just proven to me that a reader will return whether an ending is happy or sad.  Enjoyed the honesty.

Here...

did you feel that?

I just gave you a butterfly kiss through the screen.

No? You didn't feel it?

Let me try again--pay attention now, it's very subtle.

THERE.

That is to ward off bad dreams.

You are officially under my protection now.

(That's right, I am a human dreamcatcher!)

and suddenly I am craving coffee too.

g'mornin' sy!

Gee Sy, maybe it was something you ate before bed?
I'll cast a magic spell on you
and tonight you will dream sweet dreams.

Dear Seymour, you make me check if there are any hosts around .....brrrr, what a nightmare ...would you believe it, as an accompaniment to the read of your poem from outside I hear a "civetta" (one of the Owl species) with her frightening verse!
The surprises of the night .... you have done a great job here!
Wishing you sweet dreams!
Love and hugs. Margherita
