Stepping Stones

Look ! A stepping stone.
There is an old myth that if you step on these stones
you will see a persons life flash before your eyes.
Let's step on this one..............( A young girl running to catch up with friends.)
Ah!
I see a young person leaving for a new school.
Getting ready for that new adventure that is stepping into her life.
Let's step on that one over there.............( A young man walking with his head
down.)
Ah!
Unhappiness in his life
Words no longer flowing sadness taking over
Blackness fills his heart, no light of day.
Look closer he’s saying. "I can't take it anymore".
Stop I hear something on that stone over there..................(An old man limping in
pain.)
I hear rage, discontent, unhappiness.
I hear tears and thoughts that no else does hear.
Oh!
Look at that stone................( A young woman with tears in her eyes.)
It is ragged with age.
Chipped and marked with stains that cannot be washed away.
Step near.
Listen!
It sounds like the wings of a thousand birds.
Taking flight going to a warmer climate.
Seeking safety from the guns of angry words.
Looking for shelter of a smile and love.
I wonder which stone dear poet-
Have the children of words stepped upon today?
Have they stepped upon a stone of happiness?
Or.......
Have they stepped upon a stone of deep sadness?
Which stone, children, have you stepped upon today?

Love BonBon

oh, wait, please, may I step on one...ok, here I go....

oh Bonnie look, it's a beautiful woman, by a giant lake, why, it's it's Lake Erie...and she's boarding a great tall ship...where the wind puffs up it's giant sails, gliding her out into the music of the sea...she's gathering pink coral powder and magically turning it into the sweet songs of a poet....

Now who might this charming woman be?
It's PIP's very own sweet poetess Bonnie

Smiles and hugs, Happy Tuesday mi lady
Have a great day

I love it when your poetic mind sends me skipping over the rocks of sweet remember~
