--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
self absorption

isolation

pad the fragile heart;

bouquets tossed from spring pastels;

tick tock
the rain beats
redundant
onto self;

life and death
concurrent
within the drop

lost and found;
i am
without resolve

i coast above
for now;

telltale the childhood house
still wears the first window shattered;

sensaround
wrap around
insulation of echoed sound;

forsaking open streams
i cling, a raindrop
beating within the
comfort of my own self.

I love reading you, Michelle.  The above is just one reason why!   ....jo

A thoughtful read.  Much enjoyed.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
