Soaked

A prune has soaked the rain of whim
And filled upon the strain of grim
Stuck within an egos clog
Floundering within the bog

It holds onto an alter tie
A fraying rope of woven why
Wearing on the pendulums rhyme
Rasping on the wear of time

Below me lies the dark abyss
I hang this fraying cannabis
Within the era of my space
And cannot find a brace of base

My voice is dry with sounds of cry
And all that’s left is self deny
But what would be the good of this
When hanging by frayed cannabis

When it tares I’ll let my core
And fly or sink to evermore

cannibis..mmmmm let me see now
hanging by a hemp rope
in the rain perhaps
dreading the drop
perhaps one should trust it all
to his zippo and
let his lifeline burn
into a magic carpet
with 727 wheels?

master cy you
take me into pages
of old books I remember
and know I never read

dug it sir

You'll fly.  Just brush off those wings and plume away.  Rainy day in Ohio. Hoping the sun will peak out to everyone soon.  Enjoyed
reading your thoughts.

You paint quite an unusual picture of yourself ~ soaking wet and hanging from a fraying rope of cannibis that is swaying back and forth like a pendulum! ~ but you're still adorable! Kind of like Tarzan in his golden years!

rock-a-bye Sy babe
in the treetop
your rhythmn and rhyme babe
has not gone to pot
although the hemp rope frays
your wisdom not stalled
your wonderful words
seem to come when they're called

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
