Feel the poet’s power in a subtle twist of the wrist,
for within a poet’s dream catcher circle,
a heart does overflow with verse and surely glows
with tender words in palest moonlight kissed by mist.

Take a forward step away from yourself,
allow the ego to rest on a forgotten shelf,
give the power of love time to fit as a glove,
to expand beyond all manmade walls,
to move past self-serving divisive stalls
of manipulation, conceit and deceit.

Tread carefully and lighten your feet;
follow earth’s magical movements with ease,
and let truth’s inner circle expand, please.
We are all alotted such a small space in time,
we must each use it wisely, make it worthy of rhyme.

Feel poetic power as the words slip from the pen,
for within each dreamer’s heart and mind,
Hope waits anxiously for someone to find a way
for the world to go back to the beginning,
and write the script that lets peace, not war, become

The End.

Yep.  I like how you get down to the brass tacks, midnitesun!  You're smooth, Lady!

Kacy....As do you.  I feel so priviledged when I hear that word, "friend."  Thanks for that.  I agree with you that this place has a tremendous capacity to impact the outcome!  Thank you for the very sweet words...they are humbling.
