clumsy in my ways I am I spy grace of certainty druthering I be like her and a whole let less like me. Whoopi said she wore a mop covering her dreaded locks "look at this--my luxery, tresses blonde and not like me." "Chile," her mother said to her-- "get that mop down off yo head." So whoopi was herself instead-- then Barbie wished her skin were less white... and then Mattel took note They added orange pigment to the plastic of my dreams construed. I wish I could be more like you-- in celebration of myself (and yet) somehow less obsessed with me... |

Oh, clapping.....both of you are so real! If poetry is a reflection of the soul...then I see Martie as sky and you as sea...if that makes any sense at all. But both of you, I see as yourselves most of all, no pretenses. That commands a great deal of admiration!  ......jo |
