There, in a dream’s escape...gown flowing
softly, exposing the smooth of flesh, the
hint of passion, the want of more.

Blind to the corner turned, running to glance
into the distant fading of soft white, starved
to see and hear the breath of you upon my
ear.

What comes with the willow’s sway?  When
frogs dance the lilies and flowers bloom
upon the stalks,   as vines meander into the
daytime skies....in search of passion’s
memories.

Hear my cry into the feathers of a pillow
held tightly, not wanting to allow the escape
of you...desiring dawn to sleep and ask the
stars to bask my eyes forever, that I might
never stop my quest until you touch my
face once again.

For a touch lingers long on memories ride
of carpets magic among the cotton puffs
and eagle’s soar....hearing the mates call,
slumbering among the snow capped peaks..
Lingering....ever more....

Tender, soft, elegant... need I go on?

Barry, I pulled out the verse above because it really spoke to me...but the whole poem left me hushed in awe...just beautiful!  Oh, the ache.   .....jo

Sigh.  A touch does linger, as does the smell and taste and countenance of a lover.  Beautiful, Barry.  Filled with longing and heart.  This touches me.

Sigh....Ah yes the sound and feel of sweet romance as only you can write it. Weave gently dear poet singing to the hearts of ladies everywhere who sigh as you paint the perfect pictures their hearts desire....Magnificent...
