Etched in the illusion of time

0 posted 2004-07-23 01:46 PM

But she is silent.

Like a broken lilac in the halfway of spring,
pieces scattered and roses
mattering dew.
There is someone who turns
the sundial toward morning,
reflecting a shadow
much too morose
for dandelions, by the weighted attempts
of bottling
for wine.

Was it something they said,
caustic and crude?
Something to upset a balance,
a faith.

But she is silent,
anew.

If I were to touch you, would you bleed a velvet river, running miracles through the sodden ground? --Moi
