I didn't intend
to bend the rules
very much or too bad
with my suggestions
that just seemed to seep
down the sides of my pen
like slow syrup in september

but you said I did
and that I just had to go
to a more mature place
to write my poems
so the proper eyes
would not have to be exposed
to my intentional intentions

and by the way
would I send you some
so you could read them later
when you were home alone
to see how bad I really was
and if my suggestions
could make you believe

it really was you I knew

Good to read you here, there, or at home.

There is something about your voice that I absolutely adore!
Can we hear some more?
What a way to be content huh?

Bending rules, huh?  I think one of my last posts may have pushed the envelope, though I don't think I was truly aware of how far.  I'm new at taking the curves   But please continue to post here often for I do so enjoy your bend, just don't lean over so far.

very intentional syrup sliding out here and very effective write.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
