FURTHER CONSIDERATION

All my life
I’ve lived in a box
Four perpendicular walls
Painted stark white
Holding right in
Shielding from wrong
And perhaps life

Is there truly
Black and white
Or merely varying shades of grey?

What if what was right
Was only a figment
Woven by individual desires
And what was wrong
Was merely another way
Of thinking?

I’m not talking
Good or evil
They do exist

But what if what I believe
Is not what you believe
Then who’s to believe
What?

This definitely needs . . .
Further consideration.

Well, Susan -- I think this was a great write!  These are questions I am constantly asking myself and pondering -- we are soul sisters, for sure!   ......jo

You have a unique way of making so much sense from so few words.
You are a talented thinker and writer.  Enjoyed.

There,  upon the cold and ragged stones,
I wait...
Watching the setting sun falling every
slowly into the birth of eve...the death
of day...

Wondering,  Pondering...giving this poem
much thought....

Well done Susan,  you have brought out a lot
of thinking caps...Very wise thoughts...

I like to think in a color spectrum, but my son is incredibly a black and white thinker. It takes him several weeks to see the other side sometimes. With patience, the neat thing is that we both can be out-of-the-box-thinkers. Even though he thinks in black and white, when he jumps the box, creativity is amazing.  When he needs black and white, the box is always there...
  Nice introspective piece, Susan.

Yes, Misc', I've been given much to think on of late.  Sometimes it makes my head hurt   I too think in a color spectram.  But this consideration, some might say is definitely black or white, where I see grey.

Thanks you Foxyoasis
