Taking the truth.

It is hard at times to say
Things that no one wants to hear.

Life's short game is hard to play
Denial blinds: truth to fear

Only I, did I betray
My own lies hurt all those dear

My heart -feals- good souls don't stray
but false hopes wont make skies clear.

Saying good things I protray
hiding every one tear

Just so -I can- hear you say
All the truth and not the fear

Even in dismay
I'll take on the fear
