Thinking of You

Thinking of you is as easy as drifting at sea.
Silently swept along by the tide's dreams within me…
Watching the gunnels at play in the cool pools of the northern sea.
Unaware of my thoughts of them, as I drift in and out of visions of you and me.

At the horizon edge is the setting sun
The day’s end, night is begun.

Rigged, masts and sails, I enter that evening with delight
Knowing I will slumber in thinking of you, into this night.
Dreams surreal in fantasies we two, as the moon takes hold

While I am thinking of you…
