For ever and for always,
My love for you lives on,
Within a special part of me,
~ The memory's never gone.

I may hear hearty laughter,
Smell your favourite cologne
~ Things that make me miss you more,
And make me feel alone.

A lifetime spent together,
Sharing joys and all our trials,
There may have been some tears,
But there were countless loving smiles.

We were blessed with children,
We were the "perfect" family,
But why you up and left us,
Is still a mystery to me.

At times our lives were difficult,
But the kids and I survived.
Our children grew and blossomed,
~ In fact, they even thrived!

I gave them everything I had,
My guidance and my love.
I had to be both Mom and Dad,
But I wore a velvet glove.

Now you want to walk back in,
As though you'd never gone.
Well I'm sorry to inform you,
~ In this home, you don't belong!

Oh, Linda, right into your heart I can see because your words were so very well put together.  Maybe now I know why those little lambs were falling.  A basket of hugs is sent your way.  My son, when he was little, used to always say, "kiss blow, hug blow, love you, goodnight" (or goodbye whichever was appropriate).  It was his ritual when we parted.  As he would say the "kiss blow", his little hand would reach to his lips and blow me a kiss....then he would hug himself and say, "hug blow" and blow with his lips.....I just thought that would make you smile.... and now.....kiss blow, hug blow, luv ya, good night......lily

Twists and turns, curves a plenty, that is our road in life.  May all your miles be safe.

(big angel hugs) Oh Linda, I don't know if I could ever begin to understand how you feel because I haven't gotten a true relationship with a girl at any length yet and even so have far less experience than you have in them, but know how I feel for you so very much, and though I know you are doing the right thing from having old tears resurface that you and your children would have to endure ever too much, know deep down you'll always love him! (hugs) God Bless You, dearest friend, I send heart hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah ~

In actuality, my husband was a very good father ~ and husband ~ for most of the years that we were together.

Forgiveness is a gift that we give to ourself. My wasband and I have managed to maintain a friendly relationship and he has been extremely helpful whenever I have needed a helping hand ~ and I have been needing that hand less and less. Time does have a way of healing ~ and giving us the opportunity to grow.

Thank you for such a loving and caring response, Angel Boy!

Loveya!
Linda

No,  the memory lingers long when left high
and dry and then finally thrown a life
preserver after you have docked the ship..

Does that make sense?  Where was I?

Well done Linda...very well done.
