I found myself naked in presence of one
shivering inside, yet not from the cold
rather these feelings I claimed long had died
still linger with fingers that won't let me go

I found myself feeling lost and exposed
there was no shelter to cower and hide
pangs of hunger from those days of old
cripple my heart with the truth of my lies

I found my tears sliding heat down my face
a pain in my being that knows not a cure
I beg clouds to cover my disgrace
but I am exposed and so lost to obscure...

love is cleaning up a sick parent/spouse who has just undergone kemo...awakened in the night vomiting...washing her/him off and still seeing beauty

Love is convictions which solidify between two..from hard work, blistered hands, but the harvest is plentiful

Love is a vetern of shock...aspiration, indifferences, dissappointment, trying to save an entire town

Love is wounded family, speaking words of confidence...support...sommitment fo find answeres for them all, in silent allowance

Love is giving much more then receiving...never giving up...support and instilling good health

Love is Vitamin C....

Smiles and hugs

This was a magnificant write..inspiring

Captain, just a bit of reminscing here- that mingled with my freudian slip of earlier. *chuckling*

Lee J, glad you could find some inspiration in these words.

One should never grow SO old...
that they forget feelings such as this...
