you make me forget
what truly is right
for there in your eyes
no compassion or soul
will I regret the coming
of days
listening to chaos
controlling in waves

they come rolling in
I am captured between
each breath is frozen
no gasp to be found
before a recovery of
one minute past
the chaos rolls in
& my bed is the ground

I percieve darkness
behind thin covered smiles
"hypothetical" notions
of dungeons and chains
handshakes, goodwill
a nod of the head
close all the doors
as it all tumbles down

it all tumbles down
in a chaotic fest
of erroneous notions
& things you thought
best
I'll look in disgust
and try not to guess
but instead close my
eyes on this calculated
mess
yet through it all, this
is what I've found
the ground is my bed

my bed is the ground...
