I am helplessly drawn
to the warm  secret scent of your neck,
to the pulse of your throat,
How smoothly your voice verbalizes my skin

Your shoulders, solid and strong
I hold on to them
just to see how long I can refrain
from trembling

I place my thoughts to candle
along shifting strength and dare

The line,
the lean line that trails
south of your heartburst,
the subtle trace of potency

the way your breath struggles to palms
as liquor to lips
So distinct, the sound of straight want

so dimensional, amber-aired, veined
from the belly of a dragon’s lair

with no one there
but us

IWIHWT ! I couldn't even get away with trying to pass this off as my own to my boyfriend (not that an "angel" would ever do such a thing!!!) ~ but he'd know it wasn't written by me because there are no hearts and flowers and other sweetsie things in it! lol

Sigh, that was so loverly!
