And now for something fluffy, 'cause sometimes fluffy just feels good

Lazy Daisies
petals white
swaying gently
in pure delight

"What a day!"
they seem to say
"this sunkissed afternoon."

Mother Elm
standing tall
arms spread wide
ebracing all

"What a day!"
she seems to say
"See all the earth in bloom?"

Happy Robins
dance about
raising voices
in joyous shout

"What a Day!"
they seem to say
"this bountious gift of boon."

"Sweet Summer . . ."
I lie and sigh,
as I listen to nature's tune.

Well, I certainly enjoyed the sound of this sweet summer tune!

I love light and fluffy! ~ like a lovable, cozy bunny!

Happy summertime huggums,

E.A.  you know us bunnies, we do love it when all the yummies are in bloom   Thanks for your warm reply -- hugs.

Barry,

Yes, it would work well for Spring.  Just been out in my garden on a breezed kissed evening.  Feeling rather fluffy

Mmmmmmmmmm - yes!  Loved this, Susan.  You carried me off into another world.  Now this quiet summer night, in the dim light of 2 am, I read and try to write, but listen to the nightingale, singing just for me in our wild plum skirted tree...and I'm reminded of this poem, written by one, who hears the music, too!  *hugs to you*......jo

It made me happy! I will definately take a little more time to stop and look at nature today. Sometimes I take that for granted. Lovely write.
