tin foil bubble gum
tooth ache fingernails
with sharp edges
licking a candy cane
dipped in salty
and they call it coffee

denny's socks perhaps
with a flat boy's cleavage
after a sweaty day
of milking skunks
and you said I didn't listen well
when you told me all about you

my mind was elsewhere
and that it was obvious too
by my yawns and finger tap radios
you said you were not impressed
and that a man should appreciate
a woman of your stature

I said I did sometimes
and that the back of you was lovely
and doorways should know you
as you leave through them
with your lovely showing behind
I asked if you jogged sometimes

and if you did would you, could you now

Good morning, a tremendous read

lol.  Doorways should know you as you leave them.  What a great line.  Thanks for the chuckle and grin.  You do have a sharp wit about you.

Susan

btw, my friend loved the banana poem.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

you all are too kind........this was long ago the first time...and an instant replay a few days ago...now I remember why she didn't like me..lol blah blah blah...

it was a fun write and there aren't any bad people really...just some bad snapshots taken with the mind sometimes.

I feel pretty special when you folks read and grin or grimace..thanks to each of you again.

Well Dark,  I am certainly grinnin, cause
you have such a masterful way of saying
things.  I wish I had that knack at times.

Glad this was long ago,  but sometimes even
once ain't enough.

BTW...I loved your title...fits well.
