You powerfully ~ poetically ~ conveyed those empty feelings. I think you need some loving right about now. Sending you a shoulder to cry on, ears that will listen, a heart that is loving, a mind that is open, and compassionate arms to hold you.

so short and yet so much meaning and emotion packed into those verses it just blew me away...Absolutly beautiful, it is always the simplest thoughts that are the most profound. Very well done!

I keep coming back.....my 6th read if my count is right.

My earlier comment did not do justice as to what I feel about your words.

It just gets better with each reading and I guess......I guess....that is what I am aspiring to.

Perhaps someday, if I try hard enough, if I try hard enough......if I try, I will be happy with my poetry.

Snow,  this tiny piece packs a lot of wallop.

Combined with the pic,  even more so.  May
your days be brighter...

i'm blown away by the comments on this piece.. i really am. to me.. the piece is more me than i'm used to sharing in so many ways...

robert...your comment just touches my heart..

someone sent me an email asking about the pic i used... and i wanted to write you back, but i crashed and lost the mail so i don't know your addy to write you back..... the answer is ...

yes, it's me. it was a photo taken during a conversation when i was asked about having up walls and why i keep my heart so closely guarded....

for some reason when i saw the picture i knew it went with this poem.. and that, is why i say .. this whole thing is more me than i'm used to.... and yes, i'm rambling.. it's the chocolate covered espresso beans, i believe... :-) i'm so used to the layers .. to writing in a way that no one is really sure if i'm writing to write.. or writing to purge.. lol. i like it that way.... i don't want a bunch of people in my head.. i just want you to hopefully find something in my words... something that brings about a reaction like these, that say to me....
maybe i'm doing something right.
ok.... now i'm about to cry.

so i'm going to go having some shopping therapy.. LOL

much love to you all...

snow
