In A Melancholic Dream

0 posted 2004-07-18 04:33 AM

What was once the lucidity of innocence,
Has been torn parallel to the sins of Babylon
Should I stray from my fears?

But if not for these comforting tears

What should I free my rage in -
These tears pour upon my soul like the rain in the storm

It is the anger that burns within -
Releasing its violence into the wind

The sense of wonder, and lucidity -
I know Heaven breathes
Not words of praise, but songs of sin

I curse this requiem

Wow, one can feel the power of the emotion behind this.

Susan

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.
