Hush . . .

Be still.

Can you feel it?

The passing of time?

It rubs by
Brushing close
Enticing . . .

Tempting one to reach—

To enact its capture
To still its flow

Held within a breath
Endless in the moment
A stilled beat of heart . . .

Your touch upon my flesh.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

I like this!  The awareness of time passing gently, then the passion of your last line.  Well done.  KJ

Delicate...soft and sensual,  with a stilled
beat to accentuate the stillness of time.

Well Done Susan.
