-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Call it love; janis did. and if perchance, prettyboy, you never come my way (again) i will call it love the day we seized this champagne colored morning; does not the dandelion upon the butterfly's embrace, as it kneels on an altar of green beneath sky and sea, does not the dandelion feel the kiss, if but temporal, as they weld in blissful union within the fragile womb where new love is born; you breathed joy into me; if but for a friday morning, christening, our bodies, holy, annointed, by the sun dripping the newborn day; entwined, we married amid the gaze of the colassal sky covering this roomful of mirrors where we lay nude to the open window view cleansed, pure and free as secrets formed in lust's celebration; a dawn of sunflowers makes an awning to the delivery of you, my dream amid the doubts and fears of exposure as i weigh my tainted life's newest dilemma, (who really lives a life of purity these days, anyhow?) i now know, sometimes circumstances takes you to an unexpected place; you become a player in a world that you once frowned upon; you know two things....... life without it, life with it.. you choose the latter, don't look back, and feel gifted to feel 'love' if only for 90 minutes. **** for suzie **** |
