Hide with me, with me hide
na na na na na na
In trees of three, of three in trees
blah blah blah blah blah

Kiss me you, you kiss me
mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm
Peel these lips, lips peel these
aha aha aha

Pears are ripe, want to pick me?
la, la, la, la, la la
Ripe are pears, pick me want to?
mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm

LOL, reminded me of when I was small, running around in a hide-seek game on a warm summer night.

Light, whimsical, and a perfect read to go with my first cup of coffee this morning!  Brings out the 'kid' in my soul, and much enjoyed!  ~S~

Corinne~
You took me back to the spreading branches of my Aunt's mulberry tree~

I 'thought' I was hidden in my eating pursuit ... Aunt Lois just ALWAYS knew where I'd been~
Dead giveaway ... the dreaded mulberry-purple tongue !!!

You are delightful lady~

Oh my. Thank you all for such kind responses! I was seriously blocked, so much so that I decided to write something extremely silly to see if that would help.

I really think this is a stoooopid little ditty, but it did fit my mood of frustration!

Thanks again!

Corinne

I think you've found the secret of what made Dr Seuss's books so popular.  You've a serious thought expressed in a "silly" repetition.  Very clever and well done!  KJ
