Sun is playing peek-a-boo
teasing that he won’t be so hot
but I know better, that’s for sure;
he’s hotter than he’s not.

Hotter than he's not!  Yep, that's telling it like it is.

But the summer time isn't long enough, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Well that's not completely true, but it's close.

Cute as can be, perhaps, with a little underlying meaning? Enjoyed it, and have the 45 Plus UVA/UVB/IR handy.
