Timeless emotions Wandering through waves Your presence still lingers Struggling to keep me whole As these demons try to poison Everything I am and used to be No one would understand The way things have been I miss you all when I am here Daydreaming of those past days My memories becoming abstract And very surreal They are clueless of the person I really am I've become a shell without a promise Just a shadow on a backdrop of pain Endlessly reaching to help them understand Instead they simply look through Only seeing what they have done to me "Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again.
