Visiting Earth on a Guest Pass

Still, She Is Spring

Shadows play along the ridge
where clouds of mustard flowers
hover yellow as liquid sun
between the cool viridian
of new leaves
and a sky too near to touch.

“You have an old spirit,”
the sunlight whispers silently,
“…you wear it well.”

“I too am old, old as feathers blowing,
young as the shadowed moonlight.
Wings would be needless decorations
as I dance life to the very stones,
turn this simple path into a place of stars.”

“Stay with me here,” she breathes,
“We won’t know night has come
until the dawn springs radiant
over the eastern hills.”

Yet in the night, these flowers wait silent,
each one wishing on a star
for resurrection.

Oh Ed...how very beautiful, and with such an etherial feel...like moonlight on a hill still warm.  Loved it!

Oh my, love this.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

Hi Ed...good morning...I cannot find the words to express the talent, feelings, devotion, and love within PIP.  This morning
is no exception...the utter and sheer perfection sings out to the world, the faith and hope you possess...happiness is yours...to be candid, this mornings reads couldn't have been more balanced and better then any church service I have attended in my entire life...

You Rock, my friend!

Do, stay, but breathe long enough
to write of Spring, again.
