I remember...

summer sun coming up
from the east

and me

pinning wet sheets
to the clothesline,
amazed at their brilliant white...

while you,
on the opposite side...

watched shadow figures...

Maybe I'm just a contrarian, but that view of shadow figure sounds pretty good to me....depending whose figure, of course....
