She by new perspective
Upon admission into far-reaching travels
Exemplifies any premise
Traces gathered, sharing porridges
Corn is unable to put off things

There…is the insight of genius
Where everything is green
And all words have their way with her
Praiseworthy of attention
And the wellsprings of blue waves of sky
Haply peek over mountain slopes
In bright tinted sun dresses

Growing comes late, but arrives
Moving southward, in wetted cloths
Where cypress mates with pine
Upon unfurling stones
Broad avenues raise joyful echoes
One in mind with pitiful cries
Neglecting their work, gathering aloe
When the wings of magpies provide
Their canopied carriage
Lutes scampering around their feet
Like children of humanity

In blossom time
Drinking wine of soft white silk
Where darkened shadows tilt
To emulate a bond with fate
If there is such a thing?
If even such a small sampling
Such a grand cook slows summer while…

Looking upon such teaming stars
Wishes carry calling homes
While returning to our woodland
Where a courtyard is plump with chrysanthemums
Probing to find words that grant each landlord
Fireflies, with faces full of wonder

That parting long endured, implodes the instance
With arsenal rumbling voices, like a blinding flash
Melting her eyes, into such depths
Asking…”How much do you love me”
Or…were you in love with righteousness?
“Just beautiful words” he replies
“Creating this stately hall
Within this woman’s breast”
He points to her

Softly, wearing a bleeding heart which smiles
She cries for the victory of his heart, he has
possessed...and
Now carries carefully, with medals of honor
While building him a campfire
Sharing her provisions
And the offspring of rose petals
Romancing a green seal of sea and shores
they commune with words
In a valley somewhere in Virginia
Bearing six children...

Imaginative power
Fires from genius
Spiritual well being
Unquestionable friendship
Blooming flowers and
Happy poem

Forgetting not each voice
Glimpsing the other through clear windows
Of the heavy perfume of spring
They hear immense twilight with green eyes
Folding the souls of forgotten pastures

They are now warm with infinite eyes
Satisfied, holding each other
Understanding the spells of despair
Now all postcards come with colors
On pages from delicious mornings
Compiled with merit and one grain of sage
Carefully patting the ground around it

Wonderful write Lee...
So full of amazingly accurate and vivid imagery.
You always take the reader right there.

I often pass by longer poems, because of the time constraints on my participation here....I'm truly glad I stayed for this one.
