How Often Do You Wonder

"If evolution really works,
how come mothers only have two hands?"
All love begins and ends here,
begins and ends here...
.
.
.
All you need to do to lose weight,
when you're a child is take a bath,
how about now,
how about now...
.
.
.
How often do you wonder,
you can live forever if you dream?
How often do you wonder,
no one has ever become poor by giving?
How often do you wonder,
how much love can truly be,
and will you believe me,
when I say all the stars in the sky,
can't explain what you mean to me,
what you mean to me,
each day in my life...
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
"To the world you might be one person,
but to one person you might be the world."
Beyond your limitations,
can you see,
can you see...
.
.
.
...all seasons are beautiful,
in the happy heart,
and heaven here is but,
a ride on a yellow balloon,
yeah...
.
.
.
How often do you wonder,
you can live forever if you dream?
How often do you wonder,
no one has ever become poor by giving?
How often do you wonder,
how much love can truly be,
and will you believe me,
when I say all the stars in the sky,
can't explain what you mean to me,
what you mean to me?
.
.
.
.
.
"To the world you might be one person,
but to one person you might be the world."
Beyond your limitations,
can you see,
can you see...
.
.
.
.
.
How often do you wonder,
you can live forever if you dream?
How often do you wonder,
no one has ever become poor by giving?
How often do you wonder,
how much love can truly be,
and will you believe me,
when I say all the stars in the sky,
can't explain what you mean to me?
What you mean to me,
what you mean to me
what you mean to me,
.
.
each day in my life...

But if the bright lights don't receive you
You should turn yourself around and come back home" MB20

You captured my heart with this.  There are souls who make me feel this way . . .

Another masterpiece my friend. And a very good question you have asked. 'How come mothers only have two hands?'

Nice to read your poetry/songs ... hugs, Marti

Mistletoe Angel...no one can match your mastery of the genre I like to call Poetry of the Love Maker.  That poem was sheer beauty on a rose.  I believe my favorite lines were:

"To the world you might be one person,
but to one person you might be the world."
Beyond your limitations,
can you see,
can you see...

Those words touch me deeply as does every word that emits from your fingertips.  I in fact sent that quote to a dear friend of mine hoping that she too would experience the pure satisfaction of the lyric.  I loved it...no surprise!  Adore you always, Angel!

Noah, Noah, Noah,

This is glorious!  Loved it and the spirit in which it sings! A keeper.
