INSPIRED

At a distance
Unbeknownst to him
I see him.

Lightning strikes.
A shock passes
Thru my body.

Strangely
Electrified,
I move on,

Energized
For the day,
Inspired.

And he never
Knew
That I drew

My strength
From him.
ATTRACTION

My eyes followed him
Across the room.
Totally focused,
Ignoring everything
Around me.
Nothing else matters.
HOPE

A new relationship
Renews all hope
And uplifts
The flagging spirits
Of those discouraged,
Broken-hearted,
Interminably rehashing
“Why didn't that work?”

Afraid to hope,
But irresistibly drawn
To an understanding heart
Communicating without words
Spirits resonating,
Eyes brightening
Flashing
With new energy.

Remember to
Nurture and protect
This caring.
Respecting.
Sharing.
This recognition of worth.

And the world
Seems less bleak,
Less frightening,
Less chilling.

The heart
Slowly heals.

Yes..a new relationship,
perhaps leading to a new love..

Funny how one can be caught and inspired by the essence of another -- well said.

In this all, I sense
compassion, sensitivity,

This is so beautiful....I don't have words to say how truly it speaks to me....I felt an instant resonance with the truth in this.

I've not been able to read you for a while, but it is always good to do so...and to read of hope.  KJ
