Peace

Drop by drop
I feel the peace within
Stirring, growing, blossoming
For its touch is truth
Its breath is hope
And its lifeblood flows
In each and every one

Drop by drop
I feel peace enter in
Filling my mind, my soul
With serenity’s pure touch
Releasing me from fear
Setting me free
To breathe in hope
To exhale in wonder

Drop by drop
I feel peace touch me
It’s gentle voice soothing
Erasing the troubled thump
Of clamour and rowdy worry
That used to ceaselessly
Belabour my soul
Now I’m eased
My soul is calm and
Full of peace

Drop by drop
I feel peace overtake me
And ceding to it
I’m filled with light
The touch of utter
Peace

Marsha

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

Oh, my friend... you know I'd have preferred a deluge instead of a trickle... but maybe this way is better... You've certainly written it beautifully! *S*

I agree, what sweet relief, the shower of peace.

Peace comes as we turn from the sources of anger and frustration in our lives...we walk a different path so to speak...thank God you have found it...James

Mushy,

I could feel your worries lifted from you
bit by bit as each line came into my eyes.

Yes,  I do believe you are at peace.
