It’s a lonely, rainy night
why don’t you just slide on over here
and I’ll take you for a ride
‘cross the tracks

and all the way to Reno
on the wrong side of the road
and we’ll sing sha-la-la-la-la
with Ol’ Tom

pass the whiskey, sing for me
another song for the ride
don’t speak to me of love
human touch will be enough

all the world is green
that’s why I’m always on the run
let’s sing sha-la-la-la-la
with Ol’ Tom

howlin’ at the moon
sleepin’ til the crack o’ noon
lookin’ for the heart
of Saturday night

I hope you find Diamonds On your Windshield!

I did that run myself, but it was alone on my Old '55 Panhead.   *grin*

Heh heh, glad you all had fun with this.  I thought I might snag a Tom Waits fan...and it sounds like you've all got that same spirit.  Grinning now, thank you!
