I told my kids I wanted nothing this Father’s Day now past
And yet I daily watch the mailman’s rounds to see what he might bring.
I never thought they would all obey and do exactly what I asked
Though I wait through all the seasons—summer, fall, winter, spring

I fear I got exactly what I said I needed,
Nothing… (but I think I got the same last Christmas, too)

yes, indeed!

*S*
Fathers are most special without a doubt...and if the youth sometimes miss the opportunities to care...just remember they too will live life.
Felt the humor and heartstrings here.
Nice to read you again.

just a whimsical thought...like it just dawned on me...haven't been around much lately...seem to always be doing something else.  I need to get back...practically missed all of Open 32--but have read a lot more than I have commented on.

thanks for saying hi!
