gliding gently upon serene waters
deep in a hidden mountain lake
she cries a solo tune

only the echo replies
off the canyon walls,
for he is gone forever

precious waters of the ancients
circle ‘round her in understanding
compassion cannot always comfort

lift your eyes to the skies,
for his spirit dwells therein,
not within a human skin

Lovely.  And I have several cd's of S.A. flute music, one of my favorites if from the people of the Andes.

Happiness isn't something that happens to you, it's created from within you.  Joy is a state of mind.

I always enjoy the imageries I cannot find words for.  Well done!  KJ

compassion cannot always comfort
lift your eyes to the skies,

i like how this aches and consoles at the same time. reflects the multi-faceted emotional state of us ambivalent homo sapiens well

Kacy, this is so beautiful I could almost hear the music.
I love music. It can be so soothing and peaceful.
Hugs,
Ethel
