U.D.O
By: Noah Eaton
7/9/04

"Boy, this party isn't going as well as I planned,
maybe we should call it a night and kick the can!"
(Oh no, we can't quit on a Friday night,
who will come and set this party right?)

(Hey, look up at the skies!)
What could this be?
Cruisin' down the interdimensional highway,
within free-return trajectory?
Grooving like a quasar,
surfin' on the bow shock wave,
rockin' on UHF,
beyond the Milky Way?

(I've received your distress call,
via transmitter radio,
I have come from Zeta Reticuli,
to get this party going,
I've received your distress call,
I'm here to thaw this party from absolute zero,
I'm the Unidentified Disco Object,
but you can call me U.D.O!)

It's got eyes all around,
flashing rainbow strobelights across the universe,
It's wearing Dolce and Gabbana MeV 2067's,
across two main eyes, star-studded projectors,
and when it laughs and sings,
it winks topaz and breathes solar wind,
speed of love bouncing off the satellites,
backscattering the cosmic whammy-whim!

Hey, get off your icebox soapbox,
and let's do the Hale Bop!
(Hey, that's a great drum solo,
Phantom Drummer of Tidworth!)
I feel the universe expanding,
love moving us at 66,000 miles per hour,
(jump to the moon,
jump to the mirrorball moon!)
.
.
.
(Hey, Cottingly Fairies,
so glad you could drop in!
Hey, Kappa, don't be shy,
everyone's invited at Club Intergalactic!)

(Oooohhhhh, I love your 4-speed Bellatrix,
what do you use, Element 115?)
Oh, actually, I use Element 116!
(Oh, wow!)

(Hey, did you catch the latest episode,
of Allan Hills 84001!)

(KLAS-TV is full of propaganda,
don't you think?)
Yaaaaaaa...I know,
what's with the Hyatt Classification System?
.
.
.
(Hey, look up at the skies!)
What could this be?
Cruisin' down the interdimensional highway,
within free-return trajectory?
Grooving like a quasar,
surfin' on the bow shock wave,
rockin' on UHF,
beyond the Milky Way?

(I've received your distress call,

but you can call me U.D.O!)

There's dolphins diving in the Kuiper Belt!
(ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Loveland frogs dipping in Andromeda!
(ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Space cowboys ridin' Hayakutake!
(ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Pleiadians drinking green fireball Tang!
(ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Cherubs riding ghost rockets!
(ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Marfa lights beaming from the galaxies!
(ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
Let's take this up a notch, what do you say,
(ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
and DANCE THIS PARTY BEYOND OUTER SPACE!
(YEEEAAAAHHHH!)

U.D.O!
U.D.O!
(Unexplained Intergalactic Party Machine!)
U.D.O!
U.D.O!
(Unexplained Intergalactic Party Machine!)
U.D.O!
U.D.O!
U.D.O!
U.D.O!

This was beyond fun.  As a die hard sci-fi geek, (okay I don't dress up in the costumes) but if its interdimensional, intergallactic, or one step through the star gate, I'm there baby! And who can deny that disco was brought to Earth by aliens? Thanks for the smiles this morning.

What can I say, my Beloved Angel of Mistletoe?  It's absolutely...astronomical (no pun intended, really)!  I loved the images and the way every sound byte played in my head.  As always you have filled my life with that little piece of happiness.  Thank you, my beloved friend, thank you.

You seem like such a happy person Noah! I love it! It is portrayed in your work and whenever I read it I get a little smile. Very original and fun!
